Bring your family and friends—everyone is welcome!
Wear your most colorful Pride or inclusive attire to show your support.
Have family-friendly flags or signs? Bring them along & carry them proudly during the walk.
Walk with Allies is more than an event — it’s a heartfelt gathering of LGBTQ+ individuals and allies in a visible stand of solidarity to raise awareness, demand equity and inclusion, and celebrate authenticity. In a world where transgender people face relentless attacks and growing marginalization in today’s political climate, we walk to show they are not alone.
Each step is a promise: to uplift one another, to unite against discrimination, and to build a Northland where everyone feels safe, seen, and valued.
Our members have hand painted fun rocks with messages of hope and kindness for you to place along the path or take home with you to spread kindness.Join us after the walk for music, refreshments, and friends.Donate to Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter
Friends of Parkville Animal Shelter will join us with a few furry friends on our walk through the park. If you are able, please help support them with a donation.
They are in need of:
Adult & Kitten canned cat food (any brand)
Benebone/Nylabones for dogs (medium & large sizes)
Peanut butter
Paper towles
Laundry detergent
Mr.Clean all-purpose cleaner
Clean, gently used sheets. Flat or fitted.
Clean, gently used bath towels (not new)
